Default Need help on EK Coupe( turns over but won't start)!!

I have a 97 civic ex coupe, d16y8, so it is obd2a and One morning i went to start the car and it just turned over.... the fuel pump is kicking on, and there is no spark... I changed the distributor and there still was no spark. Could this be the ecu? or what else could it be? im thinkin it is an electrical issue and was thinking it would be the main relay which controls the fuel pump, cause i thought it controlled the spark also but i wouldnt think the fuel pump would still kick on... any suggestions??? thanks guys

swap the ecu and see if that helps, if your pump is kicking on your main relay should be ok

I checked all of the fuses under the hood and under the dash... so is the ecu the only other option???

are all your sensors pluged in? mainly the TPS and the IACV? mainly because the look exactly alike and will plug into each other. i just did a motor swap and if you switch the two the car runs like **** and has a hard time turning over but once you switch them the car runs perfectly fine!

make sure fuel is getting there. just because you hear the pump clicking doesnt mean its sending fuel. Other wise follow the electrical from spark plugs back to the key. You'll find your prob between the two.

This sounds like a bad Ignition Coil...

but you said you changed the entire dizzy?

My guesses were the Coil, main relay, or fuses.

Are your plugs/wires good?
