So what makes the h22a7 so much better? why does it produce that much more power?

i believe (someone please add if i miss things) that this motor has a more agressive cam profile, and a better flowing head than a plain jane h22a. im not sure on compression ratios, if they are the same or not....

the H22 TYPE R is very similar to the H22 Type S and the Euro-R...
All these motors make great power because of their high c/r (11:1) and their aggressive cams. The Euro-R is also known for its great IM.

someone plz correct me if i'm wrong...

Thanks

If I'm not mistaken, it also has a slightly better valvetrain.
