just fitted the C&R rad (used) but when i tighten the metal drain plug water just pours out as though its open,

anyone any ideas, im just prayin the plug aint shot but just cant see how that can happen with the metal plug

 

you plug may be bad. try replacing it

 

will the C&R plug be the type i can buy from any hardware/motor parts shop or only available from C&R ?

i bought the rad from someone on here in u.s but im in u.k so might be bit of problem getting simple thinh like new plug ifs C&R supply only
