Default Taking off the back plastic window in 2001 S2K

Yah so i bought an 2001 S2K and im trying to take off the back window and its nearly impossible without taking out the dam seats...any help would be great, or any threads for pictures or web sites would help amazing, thanks!

err wtf. Am i reading this right? you cant take off the plastic window. Do you mean your trying to remove the whole top?

i just asumed he was talking about the whole top, since your cant "take off the back window"

sounds like he wants to take out the back window...sorry buddy, but you cannot take out hte back window. you would have to remove the whole soft top and replace it with a softtop from a 02+

so why not take out the seats, so A - you have more room to work, B - dont screw up your seats

The 00-01s have a zipper so you can fold down the window but you cant take it out w/o removing the top.

Also, I don't think that the top part of the window has a a zipper to unzip.

That **** took me like 5 hours or more. i was taking my time but that thing was a bitch. Plus you have to modify some **** when you use the 03 one to make it work on 00s

i can take all day with it

i was going to say, whenevr i have to stand on my seats (to stick my body out the sunroof and wax the roof) i just take off my shoes, leave on the socks but my wax job doesnt take hours and im moving around, face front, face rear, so i dont smuch up the seats

id recomend removing them if your putting something other than a butt on them for more than say 5-7 minutes
