Default WHICH PAINT TO USE????

what brand of paint do i use? and what type just Acrylic or Acrylic Urethane??? how many coats to get a wet type look??? let me know i need to buy some paint for my cousin to paint my ride for me.

and websites??????

go to your local paint store. they have everythnig you will ever need.

i personally use sherwin williams base and usually a basf clear.

PPG

If this is your first time painting.. maybe try Omni, little cheaper, in case you need to re do stuff due to mistakes.

i wouldn't mix product lines.

PPG is nice and easy to use, it lays down real nice. Omni is a good line from ppg it's cheap but it is nice to work with.

Yeah I'd stay away from mixing, if you're gonna use Sherwin base use their clear too (CC930 etc...). I used DuPont over someone elses paint work and had nothing but problems, don't know what they used but it didn't mix well with DuPont.

I've used a few different paint systems, I like the BASF RM Diamont line the best.

PPG is the way to go. I use DuPont at work and it dosen't hold up to PPG

Definetly,recommend BASF Diamont ,also.Color matches are incredible

I like the PPG Omni line. So far its sprayed and mixed really really well.
