Default My 91 Accord is trippin'.

When my 91 Accord sits in the sun all day at work, it takes 20-40 minutes to start. I've changed the fuel filter on the advice of a mechanic. Got a new gas cap. Neither helped. I'm stuck...... Can anybody help me ????

when you mean it takes 20 mins to start do you mean it trys to crank over but doesn't turn over or it does nothing?

4th gen accords (90 to 93) are infamous for having main relay problems. It's underneath the dash, near the steering column.

There's another possibility as well. My 93 accord would crank but wouldn't turn over. I replaced the distributor with no improvement. Turns out that the ignition coil had to be replaced.
