Default F*** me and my 88

I have an 88 hatch and some 90 - 91 Si seats, I swapped the pans over and the backs of the 90 91 seats wont fit my 88-89 pans, is there any way I can make this work without deskinning(<- dont know if thats a word but I tired) the back of the seat and putting it on the 88-89 one? or am I just gonna have to make some custom rails.

i did this recently, and it was a direct swap, no deskinning needed... jus switch the pans and the rails and thats it... no problems with the backing...

I did the swap to my 88std, I put my old 90 civic si seats. I need to do the write on it already. I took like 50 pictures but I have yet to do the write up.
Here goes one though.....https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1062869

they're 90-91 si seats dont know if they're crx or hatch. but the 88 89 pans on bolt to the back. its about two inches short of the 90 91 backing. swapped 88 89 pans. im just gonna swap it back over to the 90 91 pan and just drill holes and mount the rails on them.

The pans swap right over. Also your the seats are going to be vis-versa when you bolt them in. So the si driver seat is going to be on the passenger side and the passenger si seat is going to be on the driver side.
What exactly is 2" too short.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by jweeks &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">they're 90-91 si seats dont know if they're crx or hatch. </TD></TR></TABLE>

Red and blue stripes = hatch.
Red stripes = CRX.

I'm not sure if I'm really getting what he said...but WHY's he keep saying back seats?? Otherwise it's just like everyone else have said...

Or you could be like me an do a pan swap with the 96-00 civic seats was pretty easy to do I though...
