Type R Front Lip
I just got my type r front lip and I have to paint it but as far as putting it on, do you just bolt it right on or do you have to take that little lip thing that comes stock off
i kept the little stock lip thingy on...some take it off though some leave it on...i don't think it makes much of a difference..the lip should fit right on either way...its up to you.
yeah I held it up to my car to see what its going to look like and it looks like im going to have to stretch the lip to get it to fit but if the stock lip needs to go then I will do that
yeah def should come off, i know when i put my oem lip on my old car the lip had to come off b/c the new lip had little plastic pieces that stuck out and then you pushed them into the bumper to lock in place

wow what a rip off, i got mine for 100 bucks shipped but i have to take it to a paint shop to get it painted and my question was if anyone had theirs painted and how much did it cost
damn... i bought the urethane front lip from ebay. i got it and it fit perfect. i bolted the ends w/ the 4 self-tapping screws supplied. anyway... i went on the freeway and i guess front of the lip sagged downward and the wind just ripped it off. thus, causing me to run over the damn thing. $100 down the drain for me!
