I believe that is an OBDI diagnostic port and you shouldn't have anything connected to it.

thats a obd2 96 ek hb and i had to buy a conversion harness to make my obd1 ecu work

ERRR!!!! wrong....

to the OP: was the car possibly an automatic swap to standard? i'm not really sure, but i know FOR SURE its not an OBD1 diagnostic port.

My bad. I have seen them just hanging there and I assumed that is what it was.

 

nope it was allways standard

again, NOT a OBD-1 diagnostic. The OBD-1 diagnostic IS green, but is only a two prong.

 

that's obviously where Hal Jordan would plug his lantern.

 

i think thats the C131 plug...i looked it up and it all it says is "connects main harness to engine harness"

 

so it gos where?

 

i dont remember if there is something connected to that or not...i know that when you do a k series swap into a ek that you need to connect that green plug to the conversion harness if you decide to buy one
