New brake pedal problem
OK, so I replaced all of my brake components and lines.
Here is the problem: car is off. push on the brake pedal. it builds pressure, REALLY good pressure. extremely little brake travel. then the pedal starts to sink if you hold it. not all the way to the floor, but it sinks a lot. there is no fluid weeping out at any of the connections or at any of the bleeder screws. the pedal sinking problem started after I bled the last wheel. before then pedal feel was firm. i was thinking it something went awry with that bleeder screw, but there is no fluid coming out around it.
any help? ideas? still air in the lines maybe????

I have disks all around
Hmmm a problem with the caliper maybe?
I did notice that the right front caliper wiggles a little on the bottom piston area when the brakes are pumped. I don't think it does this on any of the other calipers. Maybe that's the problem????
I don't have a clue here...when I said I replaced all my brake components I should have said everything except the calipers. My mistake. New BB, MC and lines and prop valve.

I think the next step is to investigate the pass side caliper, because my brake setup grabs nice and hard, EXCELLENT pedal feel over the stock set up (I'm using a 91 prelude BB and MC and a '90-'91 CRX si 20/40 prop valve - I think that's the ratio. I know it's an si's prop valve)...it's just that after it grabs the pedal very very slowly starts to sink to the floor, and I did notice that when pumping up the pedal the pass side caliper...the bottom of the caliper sort of wiggled funny if that makes sense - the bottom piston part...the top part of the caliper didn't move, the bottom part did...I did not notice that happening on any of the other calipers. The rubber boots seem to be fine, maybe it's something internal???
Something like that happened to me before on one of my axles...strange...the CV boot didn't rip but the joint sheered off inside the boot. Sorta startled me cuz I was driving down the road at like 30-35mph and it made this awful noise and all the sudden I wasn't accelerating. At first, I thought my tranny took a crap cuz the axle assy LOOKED fine when I poked my head under the car.

pretty strange, i have been getting this lately, but not everyday..and i would have to see the brake booster or master cylinder but like you said, you changed all that..well my problems comes and goes
and does anyone know what the two wires are that run into the resovoir for the brake fluid? maybe that has something to do with it? idk

huh?
the BB and MC is from a 91 prelude like I said.
It's weird. The pedal feel initially feels very firm. I can lock up the wheels easy, and the sinking is delayed, but noticeable after you hold on the brake for a few seconds of applying increased braking pressure.
