split timing belt car won't start need some help!!!
Ok here is what I have.
94 Acura Integra
1.8 Non vtec
automatic
fully loaded
all stock
Was on my way to work car just died, tried many times to restart but won't. After the usual battery of ignition and fuel test I decided to take off the valve cover to check the timing belt just in case. The timing belt is split. Getting the timing belt and installed can be done but is there a way to check for bent valves without removing the head or am I just screwed and should start looking for a new head.
