I bought a ex tranny with a welded lsd in it, i put the tranny in the car but you cannot turn the steering wheel all the way to either side and it pulls really hard to the left or right when driving........

 

start looking for another tranny, a welded diff will not last on the street

Sell it and get a helical type lsd. Something that's streetable.

 

hahaha that is retarded, a welded diff is essentially the same as a spool just worse in quality, its made for 1320 passes, not drving around the neighborhood and to work. Go replace it with an obx, make sure you assemble the obx to correct specs.

 

I bought it for real cheap and thought it could be streetable but i guess not, i already have another tranny layin around but why does it pull?

 

Because both wheels are always turning at the same speed. A normal ("open") differential allows the wheels to turn at different speeds so that you can turn the car. Your "closed" differential doesn't allow that, so you'll get weird skidding & pulling if you drive on a hard surface.
