Default EFB2 Hydro Conversion Question

i just want to make sure I have this right, before I go start ripping apart **** on my tranny.

Everything that is inside the red marks needs to be removed correct?

SO...it should look something like this?:

I'll be using this picture for reference on my conversion, but just wanted to make sure that this picture is technically accurate. TIA

Yes remove the slave and associated hydraulic plumbing and attach the new shift mechanism from the kit

i would trim the rubber boot a little and turn it around just to keep **** out of the tranny. it shouldnt interfere to much with engaging the clutch lever

when on correctly the little rubber boot has holes in the bottom to drain water. When you flip it over, the same holes collect water. No matter what nothing really makes it to the transmission since the opening is for the clutch fork in the bellhousing. Boot does make the install look a little cleaner, you could always poke holes in the other side to drain any water that may build up and run it that way
