I put in a set of clear headlights today cuz the temp ones i had were yellowy, i never tried to turn them on cuz the harnesses for all the wiring is disgusting. (everywhere) well today i spent like 2 hours stripping electrical tape off the wires so i can see whats where. anyways for the pass side.. the light was dim so i looked and saw that the black wires were attacked to a washer. where does the washer go? just attach to chassis or is it somewhere on the battery? it kinda looks like this

that is a ground terminal and should be fastened to the body or frame. Grounding this wire should fix dim lamp.

didnt work, i secured it to a part of chassis, still no good. i swapped bulbs to make sure and then i noticed that only the little light on the bottom was shining. (the one w/ the twist out bulb instead of popout) the other lights didnt shine at all in high/lowbeam. im thinking its the harness now, but its kind of late for me to be diggin through all of it. any other possible ideas?

 

Morning everyone, woke up at like 6 today to check the wires/ grounds.. i switched out bulbs to see if that would help. i swapped bulbs again to make sure and it still doesnt light. i checked wiring for any obvious disconnect/ cuts/burns.. nothing. so before i start ripping the casing apart and digging through everything... is there anything i missed?

and im about to clean the conductor on the bulb / harness to see if that helps.. help me w/ this last one and i have a fully stock lude
