Default Tranny going bad?

just finished an ls swap ran good for about 1000 miles then when i was just crusing around in 5th at 50 mph then it would slip out of the gear randomly. at first i thought i didnt put the gear in all the way so I put it back in gear making sure it was in then it happened again. now in stuck crusing around in 4th which sucks. but i have notice that there has been an oil leak could it be cause by low or no oil in tranny? or could the tranny just be going bad. also put in brand new oem clutch with swap but it been engaging perfectly. need help ASAP

Try doing a tranny fluid change--there should be a DIY thread in here somewhere--it's super easy to do. Use Honda's Manual Transmission Fluid Advanced Formula. It comes with a bright green label and a white cap.

This job will only cost you about $15 bucks, and hopefully it will fix the problem. Oh, and make sure you change your tranny fluid about every 10-15k if you drive the car hard. (I do cuz it's so cheap and easy to do anyway. Good preventative maintainance.)

Good luck, bro.
