I did the search. but i didnt really find anything specifically about an EK hb... I found some posts that said something about a bolt in the middle of the seat, between the top and bottom cushions, and I think I found one, but its just about nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get to to remove..... anything would be helpful.

(and I'm not doing it for weight reduction, just trying to figure out how things work... before someone starts breaking *****)

 

start by removing the top half's. fold the seats down, on the back of the top part of the seats there are brackets. once you remove the bolts the top parts will come off. then there is the single bolt holding the bottoms in and the rest are clips. pull up slowly and slide the bottom forward to free the clips. use a 12mm socket and an extension to get the bottom bolt off. good luck.
