Default h22 with p28?

I'm putting a h22 in my civic and was wondering if the wiring modifications would be any different if I'm using a p28 instead of the original p13?

i dont think you need to wire up the egr system with the p28 since the p28 wont look for it. im not sure about the butterflies though.

No EGR, no IABs, make sure to get it chipped to run correct fuel maps.

yes definitely get it chipped or tuned. the h22 was not designed to run on a fuel map like that. personally, i would only use it to get around if i had to. i woiuldnt want to ruin the egninge from running with a wrong fuel map.

I was told to go with the p28 instead of the p13 b/c the p13 couldn't be chipped unless I used a generic "spoon or mugen chip" or something like that. If I use the p13 will I still be able to get a good tune.

im unsure if the p13 will be good for chipping. i have read that it is very difficult to do for some reason. i opted to go with an ECU from phearable.net he took a honda ecu and chipped an h22 basemap onto it. i went this direction because i did not have the ability to wire upo the butterflies and i did not want to deal with the egr codes. so far that ECU has be working perfectly .
