Default Issues with my LS/vtec Swap-- Vtec wiring??

Ok, so just recently installed my fully-built 83mm ls/vtec into my integra ls, but due to theivery (word?) I had to source a new wiring harness from a 92-95 civic ex auto. After everything was done couple things were missing. Obviously the reverse lights don't work (auto harness-- no biggie) -- but I'm throwing a code for the vtec solenoid not working or whatever. So-- My question/s is/are

What n eeds to be done in order to wire vtec from my obd-1 harness to the obd-2 chassis harness (car is a 98) to the obd-2 to obd-1 conversion harness into my p28? (whew that was a long one)

And for reading-- you gets pics of my pile o trash.

And a new one with the new intake manny and dat flip-flop painted valve cover Y0!

this will not be as neat as a stock harness, but just hardwire 2 wires from the engine bay into the ecu and 4 wires if you are running a knock sensor. one will be fore the pressure switch and the other one will be for the vtec soleniod then pin them correctly with a jumper harness of a obd2. a 3rd wire is needed from the pressure switch to ground it at any spot close by.

nothing pertaining to your question, but your engine bay is real clean. i wish i had the time to perform a wire tuck.

Thanks tommy- I appreciate it. How exactly does one run the knock sensor on the ls/vtec motors? God, its taken me so long to build this motor that I never really looked into the wiring of it!

i think to run a knock sensor, you will need find just find some where on the block and mount it up. there is no point in having it if you are going to fill up 91+ octane gas for sure. + the p28 doesnt detect a knock sensor also.

Ok, so I need to directly extend the wires from the vtec solenoid to the female part of the jumper harness, correct?

Also-- there is only a filter mounted to the IM. Setup consists of:

Benson sleeved 83mm
9:1 CP Pistons
Crower rods
LS crank
B18c1 head
Supertech valvetrain
GE Intake Manifold
Fluidampner
