Default Pulling apart OEM headgasket

Im about to install my head and i dont want to damage the new headgasket i have that i was going to either run 2 layers or 1 single layer. How should I pull it apart without damaging it ?

squeeze the cooper rivet things with ur fingernails and bend them out of the hole. then separate as desired. no need to re-rivet it back togheter, they will line up on the head stud dowels.
