Default Emblem Removal.

I wasnt sure if this would be the right forum to post this is in, but I have a few questions. Today I decided to remove the emblems from my car, ('88 mazda 323) and the emblems and adhesive came off fine, but theres still an outline of the emblems. Its probably from the car being roughly 20 years old, so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or had any of the same problems.

Thanks in advance.

You will have discoloration behind the emblem, that's normal. Maybe try to wetsand it lightly and buff it. Chances are that it's not going to come out without refinishing the panel. You can always try though

if you have tiny tiny scratches left from the wetsanding, meguiars scratch-x is really good.
