In the U.S. and Japan there is a 4th wire on the obd2 wire harness for the alternator output signal on the alternator. In Canada on the obd2 wire harness there is only 3 wires all the same as the US and Japanese models except that alt sig output wire. I just swapped a JDM B16A into my ek coupe but the alternator connector wont work since its only a 3 wire. I would rewire but the wiring diagram only says that the alt sig output goes to the ecm/pcm but not exactly where, so i would have no idea where to route this wire to. Can i just run the 3 wires if i rewire or is this alt output signal wire very important??

in all my question is can i drive without this wire since my car does not come with it??
