E Brake Light?
Just wondering if this happens to anyone else, sometimes when I start the car and put the E brake down the light stays on, every now and then while I'm driving and it's still on, the light will turn off when I stop at a stoplight or stop sign, then it sometimes comes back on, weird, it doesn't feel like the brakes are on or anything when I'm driving and the e brake works great because I've used it in my driveway which is pretty slanted without having it in 1st gear. Any idea why it does it?
I had this problem once.
It was real speratic(sp) would usually only happen after about 2 min. of driving for me, or stay on after the e-brake was off.
If you take off your master cylinder cap and put it back on it will sometimes stop the problem. I thin it has to do with the presssure inside the master cylinder resevoir.
There might have a service bulletin issued by Honda on this subject let me search the system and Ill see if I can confirm anything I just typed.

I have this exact problem now actually, I thought it was just the sensor going bad lol.
Anyone have a fix? I'd appreciate it.
To me it seemed like it only comes on when it's cold outside, but after the car warms up it goes away.

It may state that the fluid is low in the master cylinder or that floaty thing attached to the cap could be going bad.

many times this is correct. just add more fluids

Ah ha, mine has been doing this for 2 years, and my brake fluid is almost always full...
But yeah, it's random as hell, sometimes it does it, some times it don't, and it does it in ALL types of weather, cold or hot, humid or dry.

Wow... seems like this is a lot more common than just my car. For me it only seems to do it in the morning when I first start my car, but it does it pretty much every morning guaranteed.

Just try it before you look at something else. I've had this happen twice and both times were because I was low on fluid.

If you take off your master cylinder cap and put it back on it will sometimes stop the problem. I thin it has to do with the presssure inside the master cylinder resevoir.

x18 ?
This isn't ITR specific by any means. In the cold weather I notice the float tends to stick in my Integra. Just take the cap off, dunk the float in the fluid to lube it up again and you should be good to go. During the winter I might have to do this once a month. I've never had loss of fluids, it was always topped off FWIW.
