If i am not mistaken they closed the whole operation down. To my last understanding both cars are collecting dust.

Yeah i think they closed the shop and all that good old stuff.

Who knows what the cars are doing, they might be at the chassis builder still.

Lazcano will be testing and trying to be the first piston in the 6's in PR with his Mech Tech sponsor 350z. Also this weekend Mech Tech other PRO RWD car 2 rotor RX8 trying to be the first 2 rotor in the 6's. If everything goes well we might see them in Etown in the fall event.

The twins were never apart of the 350Z...thats was Vinny and Performance Motorsports and not Performance Factroy NYC. That was the Supra...which the Twins were apart of.

From what i heard from the person that did there machining, was that they lost interest in the automobile aspect of drag racing and scrapped the twin project. Both cars along with numerous motors are sitting doing nothing...
They now race boats, not sure if its cigarette boat racing. The guys name was Rubio or something like that.I heard they lost one of there dealerships.

Nelson is waiting on his car from the chassis shop. He is not sure when he will be out racing it.

Everyone said they could come and race and beat us but I dont see anything or anyone coming to race against us. Also with the cut payout and the cost to race this class it seems no one is willing to come out and play.

GM has a lot of cars they support almost all in PRO FWD, why not support a team to go PRO RWD or something.

Mihovetz has been out this year. He qualified #2 (6.493@215.62) at Sonoma in Competition Eliminator, but was knocked out in the first round by Jeff Lane due to a SERIOUSLY late light. He's got a modular Ford V-8 in his car, so he won't be out to any NHRA races. Now NOPI, that's another story. I'm sure his car fits into Pro somewhere (in Nopi), but I don't know what his schedule is.

Regarding Sakura they are having a lot of problems with the Mitsu 3.5 engine. Last I heard they are debating in switching to the same set up Brent Rau.

They are moving on into Pro Stock... Chassis vs Chassis cost's it is very close to being the same amount of money and you make money for just qualifing..

PRO stock is no where close to the same as PRO RWD. Pro stock is double if not tripple the cost because of the engine program. If you dont have your own engine program in house it is hard to be a player in PRO Stock. And who uses Carbs still come on....

Vinny has a new shop a couple blocks away from us, from my understanding he is doing all Z and G stuff. As far as performance motorsports, they have closed the shop completely and all 4 cars are just sitting collecting dust. The orange car is complete along with the srwd car and the 2 brand new vanishing point chassis' are just sitting without any driveline. They seemed to have a very good thing going, as to what happened i am not sure.
