aight guys. i have a 89 hatch with a 0bd2 y7 motor. converted to obd0 with a chippped pm6 with turbo edit. in the future converting to obd1
neways my question is i have a code 10 on my pm6 which is IAT (idel air temp) now i know on obd2 motors it sticks in the intake tube. now im ruing turbo and plus i have a obd1 vtec intake manifold and it has the IAT on the back of it and the clip is plugs in? now im guessin its not working. do i have to cut and solder into them and run something into the uppercharge pipe or the compressor tube from the turbo? and maybe the cell will go away. its hard to explain if someone can help ill give more info if they dont understand what im talking about.. i hope this kinda sums it all up.. thanks in advanced hondatech members

Just replace it. They are pretty cheap.
For emissions you need to keep it in the stock location. Might be just a loose connection, disconnect it and reconnect it a few times and see.
But it will work if you solder and extend the wires and put in your intake tube.
IAT = intake air temp sensor.
