9.0:1 Compression, all motor madness !
Will have to take off the turbo soon for a period of time and was wondering what I should expect as far as my performance ? I previously ran the LS motor at 9.2:1 and it was peppy, but losing .2 should be quite noticable, yes ?
I am switching back to a stock header/exhaust as well and short of being an LS/Vtec, it will have no performance mods (damn, I'll be slow !)
Would I be able to run 89 octane on stock timing ? That would be cost effective !
Any thoughts would be great !
