00 CIVIC TIRE SIZE HELP!
hello,
i'm new here and i need some help on tire size. sorry for the noob questions.
heres the thing, i'm lowering my 00 civic and i was wondering if i used 195/60/15 and lowering it with eibach sportlines (about 2 inch drop) will it rub like crazy? or is it okay? i know that the typical lowering tire profile should be 195/50/15, but i still have some tread left of my 195/60/15 so i planned to used it to the fullest before changing them. and would it be good if i used 195/55/15 the stock tire profile? or should i go for 185/55/15? any help will be greatly appreciated thank you for your time.

Get 195/55-15 tires for your car. You can also use 205/50-15 tires if you like. Neither one should rub. You should NOT use 195/50-15, which is for older Civics.
As for the 195/60-15 tires on there now, they might rub, and they might not. Why don't you just try it? If they rub, get new tires (195/55 or 205/50). If they don't rub, go ahead and use 'em up, then get 195/55 or 205/50 when you need more.
