Default ignition conversion ?

can u install a msd igntion controler 6al to completely replace the crap ecu controled ignition on as odb2 car and or on a obd1 car ?

no.

that box amplifies the spark, it does not interface with any sensors or anything.

what makes you think that the stock ecu controlled ignition is "crap"?

Yep, MSD ignition boxes are just amplifiers....and they will cause way more problems than the 'crap' stock ECU by itself (on average that is, some people don't have problems with them).

I don't know what you're trying to do, but to replace the stock ECU you need a standalone engine management system like AEM EMS, Motec, FAST, etc...lots of $$$.
