atleast use carboard man,,don't just put the engine parts on the ground like that.

and if you're doing all that, why not just take out the valve springs, seats, retainers and valves and dip the whole head? you can make your own dip using **** from walmart..

then get new valve stem seals while that stuff is apart.

also,i hope you have a workshop manual for all the tq specs and sequences.

Why would it be bad to put water in the head? Coolant flows through those passages when the motor is assembled.

You also don't have to put WD-40 in it because it's aluminum. That's used on steel to prevent rust but aluminum doesn't rust.

yeah thats really the plan, tryna rebuild the bottom end wid stock internals, an den get some aftermarket underdive pulley, i heard it will break, so im scared to get em, for the head, i might get the vtech internals, but make it non a6 wid vtech internals, an wid after market cam shaft an pulley, an for the crx, i just sold it to day for 1500. and ima get me one for $350 si , its over heating, an i might b lucky, will have pics to show once i get the zc block, or the si crx,

I dont get what your trying to say, vtec internals but without VTEC.
honestly if your just getting a cam, cam gear and under drive pulley. I dont think you will make 170hp. like your saying you want
