head unit wireing
Hey guys, im usually not in this part of the forums, but a buddy of mine wants to put a sony xplod head unit in his car. I didnt want to install it for him without having the proper wire diagram. Anyone out there have one? i just need to see which wire is what so i can install his radio. Thanks.
first off this is not the plac eto post and second what the hell u tlaking about? what kin dof informantion u wnat us to go by say sont explode. try giving us the porper info and maybe ull get better answers. what model what car what yr and the most important what model sony explode. and this anint nothing technical for integra. i would help u but u can easily find this crap info on sony site.

That TI article is for if you still have the factory harness in the car, this guy did not, he needed to know what the colors of the factory wires are, which the TI article did not mention.

The best way to do it is to buy a Wiring harness for the car your putting the deck in.. then your not cutting or messsing wiht any factory wires.. It just plugs into the Stock harness, then you solder that to your cd player's harness... very slick..

I don't even think we are talking about the same thing anymore. I am MECP certified and have been installing, professionaly, over 10 years now. The guy didn't have a factory wire harness, your little write up would not have helped him. If the factory wire harness is there, then yes, you would use an aftermarket harness and hook it right up.
