Calling all clean hatches with painted/non-painted side moldings to post pics to help me make my decision. I recently purchased a SiR front end for my stock 89 DX hatch, and plan to repaint the whole car. Contumplating whether to paint the side moldings and bumper strips black or the same color as the car. Thanks.

IMO it always makes it look like a half-assed paint job

 

i have a 91 white and black crx... and theres no way in hell id paint my side moldings white. i think being black gives it that two-tone look lol

 

imo 88-89 moldings look horrible when painted..but i like 90-91 painted

 

Paint them black with trim & moulding paint

 

Paint them exactly like you would like, not what everyone else says

 

i wouldn't you'll eventually regret it
