Default Glove box lock

So my glove box handle was broken off by crooks and now its just an exposed metal piece with no handle. How do I "manually" open it so I can get a new one on there?

Yup, integras are held together by bolts or 3 different sizes. Sad but true.

Well these morons used a shitty flip open knife and ended up gouging **** and breaking the handle. Theres no handle anymore, just a flat metal face. Where should I pry it from? The outside pushing downward?

Dude the hinge is held on with a few screws. To get it off you need a screwdriver. If you can't get this off you shouldn't be near a car with a tool. There are 2 screws under the dash. good luck

They are definatly screws not bolts.

Taking the glove box out is how you open it when the handle doesnt work so you can replace the hanlde you effin retard.

yes it is exactly! Wow you are smart, if you can see the hinges on a locked door you can unscrew the hinges and the door will fall off. Just like when you remove the screws from the glove box hinges it will fall right out, hopefully hit you in the head and knock some sence into you. 2 screw under the dash, unscrew them the glove box will fall out, replace the handle put the screw back in the same hole they came out of. FIXED

"sence". You're silly. I'll try removing it in the morning. I was just under the assumption that the mechanism would be engaged and I would just have a hanging glove box. Usually when you remove a door its open first
