Default slight idle problem

ok, so i have a 98 ex with a d16y8 and when the motor is cold everything is fine, the car pulls like it should and idles right at 800-950 rpm... but when it heats up after about 2 hours of driving the motor seems to bog at low rpms then it picks up at 4,xxx rpms, and when im at a stop light or whatever the idle drops to like 100 rpm!!!

I cannot figure out this problem for the life of me!!! any suggetions would be great!!

and mods are: CAI

recently replaced:

spark plugs
wires
dizzy cap and rotor

replace your pcv valve. when the pcv valve is clogged it will cause the engine to have low rpms during idle. not sure about bogging though.

the valve is only about $3, give or take where you live and what part store you buy it from.

the pcv valve should be under the fuel rail in the intake mani .... pinch the hose to the pcv valve while its runnin if the idle smooths out replace it if u take it out and shake it it should rattle alot that means its good if not u need a new one. i had the same prob. needed to replace the pcv then adjusted idle and the prob. was gone
