Default 1972 mini with B series engine

I just thought I would post a few pictures of a cool project I got to be a part of. This is one of the cleanest mini's I have seen. I am not sure if the owner wants specs given out at this point, but I took a few snaps to show you guys. The project is still not 100% done, but very close. I know he has some fender flares going on next to tuck the wheels. I think the car will be raced at the Pomona NHRA race just for fun

It has a fully built b18c engine that I built for it. I was told the car with roll cage weighs 1600pds. Does seem like it might be lighter though. All the wiring is mil spec done by TrueNorthStar

I did not know they made these in the USA

However this model of car brings back fond memories for me!

I remember when I was a child the mini cooper was the first ever street driven race car i ever sat/drove in i remember it had OMP seats and full roll cage!

Nice trip down memory lane!

How did you get this car did they make them in Canada or something?

We are building the exact thing for a customer here for the road course.. The only thing different is it is haveing a dry sump setup on it and it is going to be turbocharged.. (fully built)... 450 hp on pump gas... sounds like fun...
