Rear Defroster Doesnt Work on my 1996 DB8
well just found out recently my rear defroster doesnt work, i have a 96 DB8 and i looked at the fuses both under the hood and under the steering column but nothing, i even tried switching the switch thinking it was a blown one but no luck....anybody have any advice or some way to check if it works or even boot leg it to work?
One thing you can try is turning them on and then using a test light on the actual defrost bar things (on the window) to see if any are getting power. If none are getting power then you know it's a wiring issue somewhere else since you've checked the fuses.

ok, I'll help you out.
Get a voltmeter or a test light like the guy above said. Turn on the ignition and the defroster and check for voltage on the defroster on the glass. If you have no voltage anywhere or at the plugs on the edge of the glass, you need to recheck fuses.
If you have voltage in some places but not others, you can trace the break and fix it with electric foil tape made for that purpose.
Usually the defroster gets messed up during install or removal of window tint, or someone scratching the defroster grid on the glass.
Keep testing for voltage until you find where it ends.
