Light bulb went out by radio?
2001 Honda Civic LX Coupe. A light seems to have gone bad at the lower left side that lights up the 3 dials for the AC, fan, temp adjust. What does it take to replace the bulb or could it be a fuse? The ***** pop off but that is as far as I had gotten.

you have to pull the center console out (by the shifter) then underneath the stereo and all behind the cup holders are two bolts pointing up. then the radio, climate control, etc all pulls out

Any aftermarket radio is going to fit the same, just buy the wire harness and get a cd player that has the ability to hook up to your mp3 player if thats what your worried about...I have one

pretty much everything will fit. usually you have to buy a new plastic trim piece. there like thirty bucks ish.
tape players are pretty scarce. but if ur only wanting to run your mp3 player most radios can have a cable plugged into the back that will connect your mp3 player. jvc makes one that has an audio port (like a headphone jack) on the front that is really handy cuz you can plug right into the front.
to run a dvd player like mine you have to splice all the wires in cuz the factory wiring harness cant handle a dvd player.

I'm not sure anybody wants to hear this but here goes...
I got a deck that the face kinda slides and tilts down to see the screen behind it, and because of the tilt of the dashboard I couldn't read the display. So what I did (and flame away I don't care because I know what you'll be thinking..."oh that's some rice gay sh*t") is I tilted the cd player sideways so when you change stations or whatever the button are a straight shot from the drivers side and its easier to read. But I took out the cubby hole and it's all custom contoured and carbon fibered now.

thats nice! when i did mine they said they didnt make a connector. it only took me about two hours to splice all the wires and tape them all up so it wasnt too bad either!

That's weird. They should have just gave you a regular wiring harness, Maybe they got confused with another car with a Factory amp or something?
