just lookin for a cheap aftermarket header to bolt up to an RS*R ExMag GTII exhaust. header doesnt really have to make any power since i am planning on boosting the car. was thinking about buying a megan racing header but just wanted to see what everyone else was running first.

if youre planning on boosting than dont waste money on a header even if its a cheap one. I do hear that megan headers arent really all that bad performance-wise for the money but they probably due tend to crack

if its temporary than its not too big of a deal since its cheap and if i remember correctly there was a dyno test on it that proved it has something performance related. i think it also comes with a 1-year warranty.

Dont mean to thread jack, but i have a DA and have been looking at the RS*R GTII exhaust also. Do you have it installed already, and if so how is the fitment, clearance, and sound? Where did you get it from and how much did it cost you? Also if you are going boost why did you go with setup since it only comes in 2.36 inches?

havent purchased the exhaust yet...probly do it next week. heard from some friends that it sounded great on someone elses DA and its pretty much restriction free. will be getting it from hopupracing.com....runs for like $550 i believe. after boost im going to have one of the local shops who is pretty good with exhaust just replicate the piping in a 3in. im a lil worried about the clearance tho since my car sits kinda low

Why dont you just get the can, it only $250 and have them go ahead and make it for 3"?
Here is a link of it installed on a DA already.

As soon as you get installed tell how it sounds.

I've got 2 headers right now. On my DA is an Ebay 4-2-1 Stainless steel. It works fine but I got a bad exhaust leak because the cheap gaskets that came with it blew out.

Sit'n in my room I got a DC Sports 4-2-1 Ceramic header thats brand new in the box and never been used. I've had it for about 2 months and paid like $330 for it. Make me an offer and I'll sell it to ya if you want it.
