Default Battery keeps loosing charge (this is my fourth battery)!!!!!

My friggin battery keeps loosing charge. It has been happening for a year now and I still can't find the problem!! My engine and battery grounds are good, the volts while running are about 14V...good. I just can't figure it out!!! Could it be a bad ground within the alternator??? What would cause the battery to drain?????

Get the alternator checked..You need to make sure it is producing the correct voltage.

I encountered a similar problem.

http://www.stretcher.com/stories/960819c.cfm

http://autos.yahoo.com/repair/results/ques028.html

After doing exactly what each link said to do (which is what Teken is saying also) and the results were a little under 25 milliamps. The voltage was correct also. So basically what i'm saying is try this first if it doesn't work (like it didn't for me) e-mail me if you do find a solution (as I will do the same) because it's been bothering me for about a yr now too. The car i'm referring to is my gf's 96 civic ex coupe.

alternator may produce good voltage

if the diodes inside are no good may still be your problem
