I pulled my sister-in-laws 00 EX cluster/VSS to verify something on my car and the second time I did this her speedometer stopped working, WTF??

The only thing I ever did was remove without cutting or pulling any wires were those two things. So I pulled twice her cluster and VSS out even after getting good readings from my OHM meter to verify they worked on my rex (I've got a 00 Si cluster) and sure enough they do.

Now, the only time her speedometer works for a second is if you open/close her sunroof, sometimes turn off/on her AC, blinkers ect. Yea, this car's freaky. I'm sure it's a wiring problem but I tried looking around and can't seem to figure this one out. Also, #15 fuse is fine.
