Oil leak

Hey guys i was just wondering my options, i have a 98 prelude and it looks like there is oil leaking from the rear balancer gear case. Do i have to buy that gear case or can i have the gear pressed off and install a new seal?

you're sure it's not your oil filter coolant o-ring, right? sorry... i don't have an answer for your question

Even if it isnt the oil cooler o-ring, I would change it out...sooner or later its going to start leaking...

balance shaft seal?? is that what he's talking about?

you sure its not from the cam seal behind the cam gears? i never heard of the rear balance case leaking, its just a case with 2 o rings sandwiched in there
