Default Rims

I'm looking to buy a set of rims for my car, but can't decide which. I wanna keep the budget low (say ~ at most $200 a wheel). Guys got any suggestions? Thanx.

He asked for rim designs, not specific wheels for purchase from members.

If you're on a budget i'd say probably go for Rota. They tend to be light and are copies of "famous wheel designs" (for want of a better expression) so they look pretty decent, although i'm sure you probably already knew that. Some people will bitch about them being "cheapo rip-offs", but if you like them and you're on a budget, who gives a crap what anyone else thinks?

I have no idea if they are around the amount you want to spend though. I guess you could get some nice second hand ones if not.

rotas are too common. for 200 bucks a wheel you can buy from a nice selection of wheels. It's just all about personal taste, and the outcome your shooting for with the car.

for 200 a wheel, there are so many selections. but does 200 a wheel come with tires? o0o.. tires can get expensive.

for now, I'm looking for $200 a wheel w/o tires. I'm still searching. Hoping to find some steal deal on the sales forum someday.

Bud, you can get some nice rims for $800 or less. Falken Hanabi's brand new, don't cost that much, and they're one of the nicer wheels available today.

Fair enough. I have no idea what things cost over there (except that every bloody thing is cheaper!)

http://www.edgeracing.com/wheels/falken_wheel/
Size PCD ET Weight Price Special
15x7 4x100 42 11 $145 $95
17x7.5 4x100 32 16.94 $165 $120
17x7.5 4x100 42 16.94 $165 $120

Personally, I would go with one of those options.
