I put a cable trans in to my eg
H2B conversion.

Im getting the code for the VSS, becuase there is no VSS on that style of a transmission..duh. lol

My concern is that vtec will not engage with this CEL on even after disable the vtec speed check on crome.

I need to know if theres a conversion i can do to make everything work correctly, or if for now i can disable a VSS check.

install a VSS and be done, yank out the cable drive unit, install your old EG VSS.

The bad news, sometimes the cable drive unit had to be pounded out from the inside.

edit: use vice grips to yank the old vss out

 

just don't rip the neck off........
