Default Trans Swap

I'm driving a 2004 civic Ex Coupe. D17a2 I want more performance. However I'm still under warranty and I'm a poor college student. But, i was looking for idea's for the future.
I know first of all i need to get a 5spd manual. And, i know it's a conversion from the automatic (boo auto) Anyway. I need more info and etc.

Sell the car and get something with a 5-speed. An auto/manual swap will kill the resale and still be a lot of work/time for someone who knows little about cars.

College is more important than an automobile anyways. You have a reliable car that gets good mileage. Why ruin that?

Also, search.
