1997 Honda Civic LX Automatic swap to a B18 with Auto???
I've read swapping to a B18b or the LS engine was an easy swap for the past week or so but there was little mention of automatics with exception of people putting the automatics down because they weren't as fast as manuals. But today for some reason I've ran into threads that say the automatic doesn't bolt in without a lot of fab work or obtaining rail mounts (or something like that) from foreign Civics that had B engines in them.
So which is it? Is a B auto swap to expensive, difficult and/or just not worth the effort?
I can drive a manual in my sleep but I want an automatic because I want my wife to be able to drive my car if she needs to and I prefer the convenience of the automatic for my 80 mile daily commute.

I found that doing an LS swap with auto is bit more difficult but not impossible. You just have to be prepared to get into a mess of wiring for the automatic and mount the transmission using CRV mount
I found this link interesting and think it will be useful http://norman.lotnight.com/p72/index2.php
