i got 2 different hondas. a 1994 honda civic coupe with a d16z6 vtec,code on ecu is-> 37820-p28-a02 and a 1995 honda civic h/b with a d16y8 vtec. code on ecu is-> 37820-po5-a02,both mini me swaps. well today i switched the 2 ecu's i put the p28 in the h/b,the engine lite stayed on.

 

The P05 is for a stock cx motor. I got the same problem with my D16y6 in my cx hatchback, as opposed to you in your D16y8. I run the P05 on it and no check engine light goes on but when i tried the P28 my check engine light stayed on.
