This is a bit OT but I gotta vent for a minute. Three weeks ago I had a shopping cart slam into my passenger door causing $725 in damage (windstorm carried it away).

Today I had a rock hit my 2 month old windshield (I replaced it because the original was pitted badly) and now there's a 10" crack in the glass. That's $250.

The rock then proceeded to leave a 3" gash in my hood before landing on the ground, so now my hood needs to be painted too.

 

I was there last year in the Spring. Nothing like $3,800 worth of damage, due to a hail storm.

 

Oh yeah no all to well about this! crawled out from under my car after finishing up the header install... two hours later when i pull out of the subdivision where i live a car runs a stop sign... right at 8 grand worth... two months later my car is sitting at a friends house her sister backs into the passenger rear 1200 in damage... about four months later I'm driving and a dear slams into my passenger door and fender... 900 there... Im sure these cars are cursed, before the 05 i have now i had a white 01, that one suffered 4 parked accidents and 1 moving

 

DUDE!! that hailstorm was vicious!!! i had my es1 then, i took it to the bodyshop and they refused to ull the dents it was so bad! 4.5k damage to my dads car. that was THEE ONLY night i parked my car outside too. to AcuraFanatic sorry man, we all have our dumps

 

i know how u feel man. my car was parked at a lodge and a deer out of the blue ran into it while was parked put a huge dent in my fender

 

Yeah like matt and ajgrosch my car got hit with a hail storm. It sucked it was about a week and a half after I bought the car. I still haven't fixed it I am gonna have to do it when I get home in Feb.

 

I feel your pain guys... I bought my car last year and the MORNING AFTER I was driving to work and hit the biggest ground hog I've ever seen, ripped up my front bumper while bending my A/C condenser bracket and bending the condensor into my radiator... later when I bent it back... hole in the radiator.

 

so far this year my car has had about $12,000 dollars in damage done to it due to 2 car accidents (only one was my fault) and being vandalized. two weeks after i replaced my $700 rear window i had to replace it again cuz someone threw a rock thru it.

you guys sound like bad luck like chinese stuff. i find those chinese things stupid (i'm chinese). Should we have a thread to see all the accidents HT users been in?

I only had two accidents in the same spot. back right quarter panel. one by me, into a pole i couldn't see, years (2 years?) back, and one by an old guy in a parking lot, years (2 years back around the same time as the first) ago.

edit: oh yah after getting it fixed a second time, the shop did a half *** job on my paint and it started chipping by itself! wtf huh?! that's not all. I get it painted by a really well known shop, and then few months later the clear is peeling and here i am now.

 

Jesus christ, there are some unlucky people on here! Sorry to hear about all your poor EM2's and ES's

I'm crossing my fingers, legs and toes permanently from this moment on...

 

man i guess the 01-05 civics are bad luck..i hit a guy and ruined my front bumper and then i drove home that moment and my hood flew back and cracked my windshield.....then few weeks later i bought a new set of rims...next day the new tire popped got that fix drove home then the motor died that afternoon...this cars been nothing but trouble...
