I just started to notice that in high rpms my 3rd and 5th grind it never did that before any body know what it is and is it fixable without breaking bank?

what kind of car?

Buying a new(used) trans is usually the cheapest way to do it. What kind of car? what kind of motor? what year? what is your social security and credit card #?

no? oh well...i tried.

 

id change your tranny fluid. Most likey though your second-third and forth-fifth syncros are on its way out

 

Same thing happend to me ... at high rpms in 3rd and 4th it would grinds .did it on the street really found out it was grinding at the track lol.. synrows are going to cost alot more to fix then buy a good one . I found a used one that had only 60,000 miles on its for 350 look around buy a new one.

 

Try using some syncromesh fluid. If that doesn't work either get a new tranny or swap out the syncros. Good luck
