HONDA TUNERS I NEED UR ATTENTION!!!!
HEY YO CHECK THIS OUT HONDA HEADS. ON MY WAY FROM WORK TODAY IT WAS RAINING LIKE HELL TODAY AND I WENT THROUGH SOME PUDLES OF WATER BUT I NOTICE HALF WAY HOME MY ENGINE LIGHT WAS BLINKING ON AND THE ENGINE STARTED TO SOUND WEIRD ALMOST AS IF THE PISTONS WERE WORKING EXTRA HARD AND WAS ONLY ABLE TO GO 10MPH WHEN I GET HOME SOMEHOW THE ENGINE WAS SOAKED WITH WATER, DO YOU THINK WATER WAS ABSORBED THROUGH THE INTAKE SHORTRAM ? THE CAR IS A 1999 HONDA EX V-TECH. IM REALLY PIST OFF AND WONDERING WHAT THE HELL COULD HAVE HAPPEND..... tHE ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON BEFORE DUE TO SOME IDLING PROBLEMS BUT IT WAS RUNNING FINE, NOW WHEN I TURN ON THE CAR THE MOTOR TREMBLES AND HAS A WEIRD NOISE WHEN I ACCELARATE WITH AN BLINKING LIGHT. ANY SUGGESTIONS I WOULD REALLY APPRICIATE THANKS HONDA HEADS.
First of all, my ears hurt from you shouting your urgent cries for help. Second of all, VTEC is spelled improperly, but whatever, a lot of people do it (Doesn't make it less of a pet-peeve amongst the H-T community). However, it does seem like you may have water problems. How big was the puddle you went through, and how fast were you going? Because I've been through some pretty deep puddles at various speeds, and haven't had any problems related to hydrolock. Anywho, if water in the engine is your problem, I think I've heard of a way to try and get the excess out: You (correct me if I'm wrong guys) take the plugs out, and crank the engine, and a lot of the water should be forced out.
A more practical method (in my eyes) is, if it's particularly dry and pleasant where you are, remove the plugs, and let any water in your engine evaporate out over a necessary period of time.

THE STREETS WHERE JUST ALL COVERED UP WITH WATER AND IT WAS RAINING LIKE HELL, THE THING I NOTICE WAS WATER ON MY MOTOR. AND ON THE INTAKE. MY MAIN QUESTION IS THE BLINKING ENGINE LIGHT, THE REASON BEHING THAT AND THE ENGINE NOISE.
Dude, hit your caps lock key for god's sake. Other than that you're gonna need to try and pull a code, or depending on what you wanna do what was previously suggested for drying out your engine. Or, teardown time.

I was talking about your capslock problem. Typing is much more legible, and less of a bother to try and read if you use your upper-case and lower-case letters properly.
Anywho, another thing that came to mind is that you could have gotten water in your plugs. You'll need to figure out what codes you're throwing too, because that will really help you.
