Default Front lip

Does anyone have any intention to mass produce a lip similar to this?

Alot of road racing cars "fab up cheap lips due to the abuse they endure.

Mass producing and OVERPAYING for a lip that is pretty much the home depot crap above is moronic.

To block air from entering under side of the vehicle to reduce lift and air turbulance under the vehicle.

Our stock civic has a mini version that serves the same purpose. Check underneath.

Borrowed this pic from the pic thread..

the civic at the top of this thread is. in this case the aerodynamics of the autocross vehicle are very important.

Same as the flat panels on the Hybrids and the old CX/HX Civics.

The flat underbody panels reduced drag by preventing air from getting trapped by the rear bumper.

Some people have seen faster 1/4 mile times and better fuel economy by using these flat panels.

if you are doing autocross you rarely if that get to 3rd gear? most of the times you are just turning around some cones...i know if you are driving on a real track you will get through your gears...im not sure though about autocrossing

well goodluck with that if this lip will reduce drag and lower your time then it probably is worth it...but i doubt you will reduce enough drag to notice anything

have you done anything motor-wise?

65+ hour work week. My uncle is stationed in Germany, and it cost him around $2500 to take his Tahoe over so I would guess something similar.
