Default rattle can help

so i started rattle canning my car cuz it was 3 different colors and looked horrible. the problem is i didnt sand it befor i started so should i just keep going or sand then paint it cuz either way i only spent 96 cents on the cans and i just bough sand paper to do the hood so what do you suggest heres the car

alright so heres what i have ive only spent about $7 or $8 total so far you gotta love walmart prices
spray paint flat black

4 cans



rubber sanding block


3M sand paper


and some cheap as sand paper i picked up for like $1

we will see how it goes

The paint will adhere better if you sand it. So it's up to you really.

Yeah it will turn out better, and last longer. If you have the time and don't mind sanding off what you've already done, you should sand it.

lol, I would just go with 1000 grit wet. Sand it till the finish is dull, wash it real good, dry it off then spray it.

and passenger side rear quarter panel


and now how the paint looks

You know whenever you respray your car your gonna have to strip all that paint that you are putting on it or it will peel. If your gonna 1000 it you might as well just use a red scuff pad.

yeah i know im gonna have to get all the paint of when i repaint the car i just wanted it to look half way decent for the mean time since it was 3 diffrent colors.
