Default Praise to the poster on this thread

This may be out of line but... I've noticed it seems compared to most of the other threads on HT (not bashing HT what so ever) this one actually has helpful, understandable info. and meaningful threads. I know this doesn't mean much coming from me but keep up the good post guys!

I've been a member and in this section long enough to realize that where ever you go people are going to be harassing and flaming, but there's still some help here... just trying to be positive... but that was quickly diminished... thanks, I might just cry now

lol naw, we're all cool here. every once in a while we get new members who know they should search but don't care to (some even admit it), so we don't answer their questions on purpose and in return we flame them. keke.

the majority of people actually go through the FAQ and things like that, and that's really helpful but there's always those who think that something hasn't been asked already so they make a topic, and when you tell them it's been answered already they throw a fit because you won't answer it again, we're not here to guide you through things, the information is here, they can make a small effort to find it.

usually, if the person looks really dumbfounded and looks like they have no idea what they are doing, i help them. and if there is something i know hasn't been answered, i try and answer it, or guide them to where they can find the information

The servers providing H-T were heavily patched on Sunday of this week. It has taken a while for all of the features to come back on H-T, but they're getting there.

Yay for helpfull posts on HT, haha when I started looking at this site I didn't have a clue as to anything at all about cars. Now I know a little bit, I am just gonna have to wait to see if that little bit I learned helps me or just completely messes up my car.

The right info. is on here (DIY and FAQ threads and sometimes posters) but be careful who you get your info. from. Almost always there's a couple people who know what they're talking about.

I just realized I'm not one of those people I guess this would be a thread and the Honda Civic 2001-2005 would be a forum huh?... just stupid

you know i just thought. what if we get to the point where we covered every topic possible, this is an ideal thought so bare with me.

What posts will there be? I mean, I don't mind people posting it again and asking. I would just tell them to search or link them there. I guess it's just that little guidance will get them going along to start reading. At first it's a bit overwhelming for most I bet.

They'll come out with a new model lol... with a different and very possibly harder to modify (I'm waiting for OBD3, so posts can be made about how to "legally" slip your way around the system) engine and so on.

I remember my first day like it was yesterday (get ready for a flashback)*~~~~~~ Uhhh what modifications can I do on my car to make it faster, and how much will it cost me, and how do I do it.~~~~*

HAHA overwhelming indeed

Yeah your tellin me... I was talking to a guy at work and given the right knowledge you would be able to "hack" your way around it (meaning the remote shut down, gps, and other such things) but they would probably make that illegal as well

i hate how in america where it was much more free and had freedom is getting into a more controlled country. meaning they tell you what you can or can't do with your things.

i found out in a city near my area if you don't want to water your OWN lawn they city will fine you or something. BS!

oh well i'm not gonna get into this.
